• All information listed is relevant information.
• The description of the product is clearly and coherently presented.
• Product is clearly related to task.
• Content is clear, succinct and age appropriate to the target grade level.
• Information and directions are easy to understand and follow.
• The task section is easy to understand and gives students a clear picture of what they are to accomplish.

The Altitudinist -

• Higher level thinking, such as evaluation, synthesis, or analysis is required to construct new meaning.
• Scaffolding is clearly provided to support student achievement.
• Tasks require creative expression.

The Technophile –

• Visually appealing. Text is large enough and readable. Colors are effectiveand page includes white space. 
• Graphics are used effectively and are not distracting to the user.
• Links are adequate and appropriate and support the task at hand. 
• All links work.
• Uses the Web to access at least some of the following: interactivity, multiple perspectives, current information.
• Page can be navigated easily.
